The police have arrested and charged with murder a woman in Kaberamaido District over allegations of stabbing her husband to death.
The suspect who has been identified as Scovia Aciro is reported to have stabbed her husband Robert Oleke a resident of Alau A Swagere parish, Ochero sub-county, Kaberamaido district accusing him of having extra marital affair with another woman.
According to reports, the duo picked a quarrel around 11Pm Sunday after Aciro accused the deceased of dating another woman which took off his mind and time to provide the basic essentials for the family.
The Acting District Police Commander of Kaberamaido, Brian Tumukunde confirmed to Lango Broadcasting Service (LBS) Radio that Aciro has been arrested and currently being detained at Central Police Station Kaberamaido.
Tumukunde says the scene of crime officers visited the scene of crime Monday morning to gather all the necessary evidence.
The case has been registered at CPS Kaberamaido under CRB162/2021.
The deceased’s body was picked and taken to Kaberamaido General Hospital for post-mortem.
Tumukunde warned the public against taking the law into their hands ,urging the public to remain peaceful during this lock down period with hope that life will get to its normalcy when the fully Country opens up.
