Four suspects have been detained at Police in Dokolo Central Police station following the death of an 18-year-old woman of Atur in Dokolo town council.
The suspects are; Okello Lameck, Awio Grace, Lucy Aluma and Opeke Ronald; all residents of Abora Cell Atur Western Ward in Dokolo Town Council.
The Deceased Mrs Awor Dorcus 18, a resident of Abora Cell in Atur western Dokolo Town council suddenly passed on Sunday night from her home.
Police says the husband of the deceased Mr Okello Lameck told them that he returned from a drinking joint and the wife served him food.
Hours later, Okello said his wife collapsed and died instantly.
The community liaison officer of Dokolo Police station Onek-Giu Roman confirmed that four suspects have so far been arrested and are in their custody.
Onek says a murder case has been opened under SD REF 7/11/10/2021 at Dokolo central Police Station as they wait for the postmortem result to ascertain the cause of Awor’s death.
