14 Heads of Mission-Designate to present credentials to South Africa’s president today

14 Heads of Mission- Designate are set to present their letters of credence to South Africa’s president Cyril Ramaphosa today, Thursday August 11, 2022

According to a statement by the South African presidency, the 14 who are in South Africa to serve in diplomatic missions will present their credentials to president Ramaphosa at a ceremony to be held later today.

Among them is Uganda’s High Commissioner Designate Paul Amoru who arrived in South Africa on 30th July 2022. On August 4, 2022, Amb Amoru presented copies of his letters of credence to Ambassador M.H Hoyana, the Acting Chief of State Protocol of South Africa at the Department of International Relations and Cooperation of South Africa.

The other Heads of Missions set to be received by President Ramaphosa Thursday are from Thailand, Spain, Paraguay, Slovak, Libya, Ethiopia, Eswatini, Chile, Mali, Sudan, European Union, USA and Turkmenistan.
