Dokolo-The Deputy Resident District Commissioner Dokolo Jonah Godfrey Mbigiti has survived a nasty accident at Abalang Bridge on Dokolo – Amolatar road.
The accident occurred on Wednesday at around 3:00 pm as Mbigiti returned to Dokolo from official duties in Kampala.
According to Dokolo Resident District Commissioner Babra Akech, her deputy Mbigiti was rushing to Adogmonmio, Adeknino Sub County in Dokolo district for the burial of the mother to the District Chairperson.
She says Mbigiti has been rushed to hospital with minor injuries.
Dickens Obote an eye witness told LBS Newsday that the vehicle in which Mbigiti was travelling almost veered off the road before it overturned just at the bridge.
Police is yet to issue a statement on the matter.
