Choosing my wife over the Samsung Galaxy S22

If you’re a phone lover, you know that the Samsung Galaxy S22 Android phone is one of the most advanced phones on the market today. It has all the bells and whistles an avid phone lover could ask for, from its sleek design to its top-of-the-line camera. But what if I told you that I recently chose my wife over my beloved Samsung Galaxy S22 Android phone?

In this post, I’ll tell you why I made this decision and what I’ve learned from it…

My Samsung Galaxy S22 had been with me for a couple of months, always loyal and never failing to do my bidding. It was my faithful companion, and I had grown very attached to it.

On the other hand, I had Marjorine, my wife, who had been with me for just much longer. She had always been there for me, never letting me down, even during tough times. I didn’t know what to do. Both were important to me; both were part of my life. I stood there, unable to decide.

Then, a voice came from behind me. It was my wife’s voice, soft and gentle. “Choose me,” Marjo said. “I know that I tease you about that android phone and how it’s the only thing you love more than me, but I understand your special relationship with your phone,” she added.

Today was shocking. Sure, she’s always there for me, but when we’re together, it’s not always about me. She always talks about her day, friends, and family. And sometimes, she’s too busy to answer my texts or take my calls when I need her.

Looking at Marjo, the grace in her face, the wonder in her eyes and the poise and purpose in her outstretched hands. At that moment, I knew what I had to do. I still love them both. My wife is my best friend, and my Samsung Galaxy S22 phone is my partner in crime. It needed no calculus…

I chose my wife! I chose loyalty, love and companionship over technology.

WAKE UP! WAKE UP! It was… my wife? …and I seemed to be sweating profusely with a heart starting to pound!! It was quickly coming back. A terrible nightmare… and it was about to get worse!

My Samsung Galaxy S22 was gone. Slum dunked in the toilet bowl during a cloud of dazzling overindulgence! Yes, I recalled the argument in which I proved I loved her more than the Samsung and threw ‘her’ into the toilet bowl…

While I hugged Marjo tightly as she tried to escape, we both knew her competition was finally gone—time to move on.

My lesson was clear, and I had drawn my being around the gadget and irresponsibly found fault in everything my wife did. She did what I always do, sometimes, I was too busy to pick up a call, and I faulted her for doing the same.

I forgave myself and her too.

So with a smile, I slowly let her go and started to plan Project Galaxy S23!
