Wakiso- Police in Nansana arrested and charged a teacher at Home Kindergarten School, Busibante – Najeera who together with three other men allegedly sodomised a 16-year-old male juvenile.
It is alleged that the teacher identified as Derick Akicho while at Najeera lured the juvenile who was working as a casual worker by promising him a better job. He then managed to transport him from Najeera to Nabweru South 1 cell where they entered a wall-fenced house on February 23, 2023.
“Upon arrival, the victim was surrounded by three other men wearing wigs who forcefully stripped him naked and sodomized him in turns. These were joined by teacher Derick,” said Fred Enanga the police spokesperson during a security press briefing at police headquarters in Nagulu on Monday.
“We want to thank the defense secretary Busibante village Nsumba Sulait who took interest in the matter and brought it to police,” added Enanga
He said the police managed to arrest the suspect and recovered exhibits including sex toys, drugs and jerry that they use in these sex crimes. Enanga noted that efforts are in place to trace his other sex gang members who are on the run.
