Favor of God ministries, founded by Carole Ward, has been making a profound impact in the Lango Sub region of Uganda through their Portable Bible studies program.
With the recent pass out of 2,065 graduates, it is clear that this ministry is making a lasting difference in the lives of many individuals.
Operating in four regions in Uganda and seven nations worldwide, Favor of God ministries has been a beacon of hope for those seeking to strengthen their Christian faith.
The recent pass out ceremony saw 420 graduates from the Omito center in Lira city, 610 from Onyakede in Lira district, 380 from Ocero Parish Bata sub county in Dokolo, 210 from Apedi in Ngeta Lira city, 400 from Apuru in Agweng TC Lira district, and 45 from Adwoki in Dokolo district.
During the ceremony on Wednesday at Adwoki, Pastor James Ebuu, the representative of Favor of God ministries in charge of Lango, highlighted the ministry’s main objectives.
These include strengthening Christian faith and helping in building churches.
Ebuu also emphasized the important function of pastors in a (5Ps) and (3 Gs) method, urging them to Preach the word of God, Promote faith and hope, Provide for Christians, Protect them, and Present Christian’s problems to God.
In the (3 Gs) method, Ebuu also advised pastors to avoid Glory, Goal, and Girls Or Guys the relationships with the opposite sex that can lead them astray from their mission.
This message was reiterated by Rev. Lawrence Ogwang of Victory outreach Ministries, who emphasized the need for unity among denominations rather than divisionism.
Drawing from 2 Timothy chapter 2 verse 15, Rev. Ogwang reminded the graduates to work hard and give themselves wholly to God, who will ultimately reward them.
He also stressed that a good servant of God is defined by the life they live, not just the words they preach.
One of the graduates, Ms. Ketty Omara, shared her experience with Portable Bible studies.
She expressed her newfound understanding of the Bible, including the names of the 66 books and their respective authors.
Rev. Tonny Onyal of Awidi Elim church then advised servants of God to advance their studies.
He also learned that Jesus Christ was a wise and knowledgeable leader, whose words may have been misunderstood by those with little knowledge.
