Vincent Opito, a candidate for the UPC party in the Dokolo South Constituency, has pledged to address the diverse needs of the community if he is elected for the 2026-31 term.
He recognizes that different groups, such as youths, seniors, persons with disabilities, car washers, and mobile business owners, have varying issues that require tailored solutions.

Opito promises to address this and ensure that those affected people, receive proper compensation like that of Oyam has received.
During a speech in fluent Kiswahili, Opito cautioned against baseless accusations and false claims of leadership.
He asserted that he is the only true leader in the race and urges people to support his bid for parliament in the upcoming election.Sarah Aguti, the current woman MP for Dokolo district, shares her positive impact on the community and Uganda as a whole during her brief time in parliament.
According to Aguti she initially asked voters to give her a chance in the by-election, but after seeing her contributions, she now seeks re-election.
