Mbabane, 19th November 2025: The High Commission in Pretoria, under the leadership of H.E Paul Amoru, in collaboration with Centenary Group and UGASAF, under the leadership of their respective Group Chairpersons (Prof. John Ddumba Ssentamu of centenary Group), and Hon. Nakiwala Florence (Chairperson of UGASAF), are holding meetings with officials from various government MDAs of the Kingdom of Eswatini.
The team is in the Kingdom of Eswatini to explore investment opportunities in the Kingdom, including establishment of a commercial bank in Eswatini.

Key areas of interest for the Group include: Banking and Microfinance, ICT, Fintech, and Innovation, and Property Management among others.
The delegation have since Tuesday 18th 2025 held meetings with the Management of Eswatini Post and Telecommunication Commission, Eswatini Investment Promotion Authority,, the Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Eswatini Central Bank.
Other meetings held today 19th November 2025 were with Eswatini Communications Commission (ESCCOM), and Eswatini Public Service Pensions Fund (PSPF) to explore areas of investment such as fintech, ICT consultancy, fintech solutions, insurance, innovations, etc.
On the sidelines of these commercial engagements, the High Commission has held a meeting with the CEO of Eswatini Tourism Authority and will meet with the Minister of Agriculture of Eswatini on Thursday 20th November 2025.
Discussions with Eswatini Tourism Authority focused on working on joint implementation plan/framework for implementation of the MOUs on cooperation in the fields of tourism and agriculture under the JPCC, all of which were signed in August 2024 during the visit of His Majesty King Mswati III, Head of State of the Kingdom of Eswatini.
Eswatini Tourism Authority is ready to work with Ugandan counterparts to undertake exchange visits, joint destination marketing with Destination Marketing Companies of both countries, organize joint tourism roadshows, and support Uganda tourism industry in the development of its cultural tourism, a sector that Eswatini has built sustainable capacity in, including the famous Reed Dance.
The High Commission is on aggressive promotion, in Southern Africa, of Uganda’s Nyege-Nyege and Imbalu festival and cultural menu.
