The graduation ceremony took place at Angoromo Elim Church in Apado cell, Eastern Ward Bata town council.

Out of the 46 graduates, 35 are female and 11 are male.

Favour of God Ministries operates in four different sub-regions of northern Uganda – Karamoja, West Nile, Acholi, and Lango – with a total of 11 training centers established in Lango.

‎During the ceremony, Apado cell’s LC1 chairperson, Charles Onyango, expressed how the presence of different denominations in the village has brought about peace, thanks to the various biblical teachings being conducted in the area.

Lawrence Ogwang from Victory Outreach gave a sermon on “The Secret to Experiencing the Presence of God in Our Lives,” referencing passages from Psalms 63: 1-2 and Jeremiah 29: 13-14.

Ogwang stressed the importance of devoting ample time to serving God, citing the disciples of Jesus as an example.

He also urged people to seek God first instead of turning to witch doctors for their needs.

Comparing the love between partners to the love for God, Ogwang advised Christians to prioritize their relationship with God just as they would prioritize their significant other.

‎Ogwang also emphasized the importance of being humble and honest before God, rather than boasting about titles or achievements, referencing the book of James.

One graduate, Martin Ocen, shared how the three-month program has helped him grow in his Biblical knowledge, while another, George Ocen, shared how it has improved his ability to share the Word of God with others.

The instructor, Kamara Emmanuel, advised the graduates to strive for excellence and not settle for mediocrity in their endeavors.

He emphasized the importance of hard work and urged the graduates to cultivate food crops to prevent poverty from distracting them from their faith.‎‎
