Dokolo, Uganda – Dokolo School of Nursing and Midwifery has celebrated its outstanding performance in the 2025 Uganda Health Professions Assessment Board (UHPAB) results.
The institution has consistently shown remarkable improvements in its performance, and the recent results are a testament to its commitment to academic excellence.
In a ceremony held on Saturday, March 21, 2026, the school gathered for a thanksgiving prayer and welcome party to celebrate its students’ achievements.

The event was graced by the presence of top leadership, academic and non-academic staff, members of the Dokolo HCIV team, church leaders, and students’ parents and guardians.
During her address, the Academic Registrar, Mrs. Vivian Achan Emily, expressed her pride in the students’ outstanding performance, highlighting that an impressive 96% of them scored distinctions across various papers.
”Out of the 23 finalists from Dokolo School of Nursing and Midwifery, 22 scored above 4.0, with the remaining one achieving a commendable 3.7″ she said.

Mrs. Emily attributed the school’s success to the dedication and hard work of its students, as well as the institution’s commitment to providing quality education.
She also extended her gratitude to the parents and guardians who have entrusted their children’s education to Dokolo School of Nursing and Midwifery, stating that it is an honor for the school to play a role in shaping their children’s futures.
The Deputy Principal, Sister Judith Idong, also addressed the gathering, encouraging the students to focus on their studies and leave worries about home behind.
She pledged to be a source of support and guidance for the students, helping them achieve their academic goals.
Solomon Ojara the Dean of Students said that the celebration isn’t the finish line but it’s a stepping stone urging students to stay focused, humble, and keep pushing themselves saying that there’s so much more to learn, and to achieve as he encourage the to keep striving for excellence.

He hailed the school administrators and the staff for their unwavering support saying they’re the backbone of their success as they urged their fellow students, to keep pushing, and striving because their future is in their hands.
In addition to celebrating the students’ achievements, Dokolo School of Nursing and Midwifery is taking it a step further by rewarding its top performers with bursaries.
The Institution Director, Charles Eromu, commended the good performance and discipline among students and expressed gratitude to tutors for their tireless efforts.
He pledged to provide more bursaries for best-performing students, encouraging them to continue doing their best.
Dokolo School of Nursing and Midwifery has grown exponentially since 2018, from just 5 students to over 200 learners, supported by a dedicated team of over 20 staff. The school is located in Gorogoro B Cell, Northern Ward, Dokolo Town Council.
