The Uganda Police Force (UPF) has arrested four suspects in connection with the aggravated robbery and murder of Kokunda Patricia, who was shot dead at Teso Coach Park in Soroti City on April 3, 2026.
According to Police Spokesperson Kituuma Rusoke, the victim was attacked, robbed, and fatally shot by armed assailants at around 4:40 Pm near Goalman Supermarket.
Following the incident, police and sister security agencies intensified investigations and the hunt for suspects.
The arrested suspects include Okello Alex and Onego Felix, who were picked up on the day of the incident, and Epeu Simon alias Iboda, who was arrested in Anyara, Kalaki District, with UGX 7,000,000 recovered from him.
On Saturday, April 4, 2026, the suspected shooter, Elacu Alfred, was arrested in Orungo, Amuria District, and the victim’s smartphone was recovered from a bush in Kichinjani.
He said Police are continuing with investigations to recover more key exhibits.
