“Otuke East Voters are Jubilant as MP Julius Achon Bua Dominates at East Africa’s Inter-Parliamentary Games.”

The latest news from the East Africa Inter parliamentary games has left voters in Otuke East constituency buzzing with excitement and pride as MP Julius Acon Bua takes the lead in the 1,500 meters athletic event.

In an exclusive interview with LBS radio, Bosco Okullo, the LC3 chairperson of Orum sub county, could not hide his happiness as he expressed his gratitude for Bua’s outstanding performance in the competition.

He emphasized that Bua’s athletic prowess has not only brought glory to Otuke East, but has also been a source of pride for the entire Lango community.

“And this is not the first time that Bua’s athletic skills have brought honor to the region; even before he entered the political arena, he was already making a name for himself in the sporting world” Okullo said.

According to him, Bua’s contributions to his constituency go beyond his impressive athletic abilities. As Okullo points out, Bua’s representation in Parliament has also brought tangible benefits to the people of Otuke.

One such example is his support for local farmers, where he has provided them with hoes and planting materials for their farms.
James Ongom, former LC1 chairperson of Olilim trading center, echoed Okullo’s sentiments and praised Bua for his exceptional performance in both the constituency and Parliament.

He urged anyone thinking of challenging Bua to think twice, as he is still considered the best in the district in terms of representation in Parliament.

But it’s not just MP Bua who has made Uganda proud in the East Africa Inter parliamentary games.

Other members of Parliament have also stepped up and achieved remarkable results.

Patrick Ocan, the Apac municipality MP, shined in the 100-meter race for males.

Abeja Susan, Woman MP for Otuke district, secured third place in the 400-meter event, while Akello Christine, MP for Erute North, also claimed third place in the 3 and a half rounds in the athletic competition.
