DOKOLO – The NRM Youth League Chairperson Eladu Fred Omiat has commended all young people, leaders and communities who participated in Saturday’s successful national cleaning exercise across the country.
In a statement, Eladu said the exercise demonstrated the spirit of volunteerism, patriotism and collective responsibility among Ugandans, particularly the youth.
“Keeping our communities clean is not only about a cleaner environment, but also about promoting public health, dignity, and sustainable development,” he noted.
He appreciated everyone who contributed time and effort to make Saturday’s exercise a success and called upon young people to maintain this spirit by taking continuous responsibility for the cleanliness and wellbeing of their communities.
“Thank you to all participants for making a difference,” Eladu added.
The national cleaning exercise is part of ongoing efforts to promote community hygiene, environmental protection and community participation in national development.
