‎The greatest category of grand national corruption by top leaders today is not mere theft of money. It is the corruption of stewardship through cosmopolitan nepotism, executed using the illusive morality of law.

‎This is state capture in its most refined form. Leaders no longer break the law openly. They weaponize it. They use the letter of the law to violate its spirit, legalizing unethical behaviour to protect power, reward cronies and punish society. What emerges is rule _by_ law, not rule _of_ law.

‎This system is sustained by seven deliberate wrongs: Doing the wrong things, doing things in a wrong way, doing things at the wrong time, doing things at the wrong place, doing things with wrong people, doing things for the wrong purpose, and doing things for the wrong people.

‎When these seven wrongs are institutionalized, the destruction is total. It dismantles eight foundations of a nation:

‎1. It destroys the Imago Dei of the followers.

‎Every citizen is created in the image of God, with inherent dignity and worth. Cosmopolitan nepotism reduces citizens to tools for wealth extraction, clients for handouts, and subjects for manipulation. Human dignity is stripped away.

‎2. It destroys the Beatitudes of Jesus Christ.

‎The virtues of justice, mercy, peacemaking, meekness and righteousness are replaced by survivalism, greed, deceit and sycophancy. A nation that should hunger for righteousness is taught to hunger for proximity to power.

‎3. It destroys the poor, orphans, widows and minorities.

‎Resources meant for social safety nets, for education, for health, for affirmative action, are diverted to elites. The vulnerable, who need the state most, are intentionally neglected because their suffering does not threaten the regime.

‎4. It destroys public wealth.

‎The national treasury is treated as a personal bank account. Procurement, contracts, appointments and concessions are monetized for elite gain.

‎5. It destroys dissidents, the voiceless, and fuels ethnic tension.

‎To prevent accountability, the voiceless are silenced, dissidents are criminalized, and ethnic tensions are deliberately stoked. Divide and rule becomes the official governance strategy.

‎6. It destroys the National Human Rights system.

‎Human rights commissions, courts, parliament and oversight bodies are hollowed out. From watchdogs, they become shields for impunity. They provide a facade of legitimacy while defending the indefensible.

‎7. It destroys prosperity – economic, food, health and environmental security.

‎When merit is killed, productivity collapses. Food security is sacrificed for land grabs, health security for drug theft, environmental security for illegal resource extraction.

‎8. It destroys human safety – personal, community and political security.

‎Citizens live under arbitrary enforcement, community fractures and political violence. Insecurity is not a failure of the system; it is the system. An insecure population is too busy surviving to mount a unified challenge.

‎The ultimate objective of this model is what I call Calculated Incompetence.

‎By ensuring that national duties are handled by the wrong people using the wrong methods for the wrong purposes, the regime intentionally reduces national competency and competitiveness.

‎Why? Because in a highly competent, transparent meritocracy, corrupt leaders cannot survive. Therefore, degrading the intelligence, capability and economic independence of the population is not an accidental by-product of their rule. It is a deliberate strategy.

‎A weak, dependent, divided people cannot demand accountability. They cannot produce a viable alternative. And so the leaders and their cronies can rule through absolute impunity, without any challenge.
