Three Kaberamido district officials interdicted over forgery of academic papers

KABERAMIDO

Three civil servants of Kaberamido district local government have been interdicted from office.

They were interdicted on allegations of forging academic papers.

The interdicted officials are the parish chief of Kobulubulu sub-county Norman Etolu, the parish chief Aperkira sub-county Geofringo Geoffrey Egadu, and Mr. Raymond Eboyu alias Charles Raymond Elyau, the assistant accountant of Ochero sub-county.

The chief administrative officer of Kaberamaido district Kasadha John Stephen directed the civil servants to with immediate effect hand over the office.

According to Kasadha, Mr. Etolu Norman is accused of forging a diploma paper in social works while Geofrey Egadu is alleged to have forged a diploma in public administration from Makerere University.

Mr. Raymond Eboyu is accused of impersonating Eboyu Raymond yet his true names are Charles Raymond Elyau.

CAO says the trio is pending a decision of the district service commission since investigations against them have commenced.

On the 29th January 2021, the Inspectorate of Government raised allegations against the interdicted officials and directed that they should appear before the district service commission.
