Soroti– Fallen Teso cultural leader Emorimor Papa Osuban Augustine Lemukol will be accorded state burial.
According to President Yoweri Museveni, this will be done in honor of his contribution.
“I, therefore, in the great memory of Emorimor Papa Augustine Lemukol, declare an Official Burial. My condolences to the Teso Kingdom, relatives, and well-wishers. May God grant his soul eternal repose,” President said.
The president had earlier eulogized Emorimor as a great advocate of peace and unity.

The Emorimor (88) died on Saturday 5th February 2022 at Mulago National Referral Hospital where he had been hospitalized.
Emorimor Lemukol was enthroned as the Iteso Paramount Chief in April 2000.
Teso covers the districts of Amuria, Bukedea, Butebo, Kaberamaido, Kapelebyong, Katakwi, Kumi, Ngora, Serere.
