Kampala – A female law student has perished in an accident that happened on Thursday afternoon at Makerere Kavule.
The deceased has been identified as Jalia Nakiboneka, a student of Law Development Centre, Lira Campus.
The accident which occured at around 1:30 pm involved a motor vehicle registration number UAY 005Q/UAD894Q Mercedes Benz) and a motorcycle on which Nakiboneka was a passenger.
According to Faridah Nampiima the traffic police spokesperson, the ridder of the motorcycle took off immediately after accident.
“The body of the deceased was conveyed to city mortuary for postmortem. May the soul of the deceased Rest in Eternal peace.” said Nampiima
She said inquiries into the cause of the accident are underway.
