Presidential Address Pushed To Saturday Amid Terror Attacks

STATEHOUSE. Ugandan  Tibuhaburwa has rescheduled  his address to  the nation.­

Mrs Lindah Nabusayi Wamboka the presidential press secretary confirmed in a tweet that the presidential address will be broadcast on Saturday 20th November all radios and televisions at 8:00 pm.

The reschedule comes days after Uganda experienced deadly suicide bombing in her capital Kampala killing Seven people and injuring Thirty Three.

She says the president’s address will be on the current Covid-19 situation and other issues of national importance.

Bars and Cinema halls remain closed for two years now after the President announced lockdown to combartd the spread of covid 19.

Statistics from the  Ministry indicate that  4.8 million people have been vaccinated against COVID-19.END
