The government curved Kwania out of Apac district on July 1st, 2018 and Kwania district required UGX 4.5 billion for the construction of an administration block.
The district allocated UGX 200 million in 2019/20 after receiving UGX 600 million to kickstart building construction under the Transition Grant from the Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development.
The council has now allocated UGX 157 million to finance the ongoing construction of the district administration block in the next financial year.
