VP Jessica Alupo (R) handing over the hoes to beneficiariesKatakwi – The Vice President who is also Woman MP Katakwi District, Jessica Alupo has launched the distribution of 35,000 hand hoes to different households in Katakwi district to boost household income and food security.
The function took place in Otuboi village, Dadas parish, Akoboi sub county, Ngariam County in Katakwi district, with all key district officials present.
Alupo urged the people to embrace the ongoing Parish Development Model program aimed at fighting household poverty.
The hoes will be distributed to beneficiaries within the 20 sub counties and three constituencies in Katakwi namely Usuk, Ngariam and Toroma Counties.
