The trade mission, a part of Wesgro’s international trade and outward investment mission programme for 2023/24, aims to foster bilateral relations and uncover new avenues for trade and investment between South Africa and Uganda. With a strong focus on the agricultural sector, the mission will feature targeted networking sessions and business-to-business meetings to cater to specific areas of interest for the participating delegates.
As the third-largest economy in East Africa, Uganda holds significant importance as an export market and trading partner for South African businesses, especially in the agricultural sector. With abundant natural resources and a thriving economy, Uganda offers vast opportunities for growth and expansion in various industries.
South African businesses are encouraged to seize this exceptional opportunity to establish valuable connections, explore trade partnerships, and unlock new avenues of growth in the Ugandan market.
