At exactly 10am, The NRM flag bearer, Janet Adongo Rose Elau has duly been nominated as a Candidate to vie in the Dokolo district Woman MP by-election.
The exercise was conducted by the Independent Electoral Commission Returning Officer for Dokolo District, Mr Ngobi Stephen Erikwaine.
Mrs Adongo’s nomination was witnessed by the NRM director of Mobilisation, Hon. Rosemary Nansubuga Seninde, Mr. Samuel Eyenga, the Senior Manager of Mobilisation and district leaders of the party.
Addressing the media shortly after her Nomination, Mrs Adongo expressed gratitude for holding the party flag in this by-election and promised a resounding victory.
“I have the pleasure to hold the NRM ticket, and promise to work together with the people of Dokolo to ensure social economic transformation of our people.” Adongo said.
Voting is slated for 21st Macrh, 2024.
