Under the leadership of Prof. Constant Okello Obura, DNCI gave 520 liters of liquid soap, 420 liters of sanitizer, and an undisclosed quantity of covidex herbal medicine for treating symptoms of covid-19 totaling to shillings ten million.

The organization’s secretary Hamza Okello said each health center II will get 10 liters of both sanitizer and liquid soap and health center III will get 40 liters of liquid soap and 20 liters of sanitizer while Dokolo health center IV will be given 40 liters of liquid soap and sanitizer.

Okello said their members made contributions to procure these items after realizing that the lives of health workers were at risk due to inadequate personal protective equipment (PPE’s).
