Teso Affairs Minister warns Otuboi ‘Ghetto Youths’ on ‘begging’

The minister for Teso Affairs Clement Ongalo Obote who also doubles as the Member of Parliament for Kalaki county has warned young people to refrain from the practice of begging from politicians.
Ongalo Obote together with Kalaki district woman Member of Parliament Jenifer Ayo Nalukwago had on Saturday [21st August 2021] delivered Shs 6.4 million to Otuboi ghetto youth at Otuboi town council, Kalaki district.
The money is meant to benefit the over 150 members of the ghetto who are into different ventures like restaurants, mechanics, and other small-scale businesses.
Ongalo appealed to the ghetto youth to stop begging and instead concentrate on personal developments, families, and development of their area.
Jenifer Ayo Nalukwago rallied the youth to form organized groups because the government doesn’t support individuals but rather people in groups.
The chairperson of Otuboi ghetto youth Benard Enyilu promised to commit the money for gainful ventures.
