Adventist Church Building Collapses During Service in Kampala

KAMPALA-Mt Olives Church in Kyambogo Nakawa division Kampala has collapsed, no casualties reported.

According to an eye witness who spoke to this website and preferred not to be named, the building developed a crack in the middle of divine service on 6th November 2021 around noon.

‘‘We saw the cracks developing, thereafter Christians sought refuge outside, as Christians were watching at what could happen the building collapsed, no report of death was realized, he narrated.

Over 100 members were reportedly at the Church.

Adventist members usually celebrate the seventh day (Sabbath) as their worship day by congregating in different worship centers.

Uganda union’s communications director Immanuel Osoro Ogwal in an interview said he was yet to establish details of the Church building collapse.

‘‘I have also been in church, I have seen it on social media, I don’t have details yet, I’m yet to find out the details’ he said.
