E-Gov’t expo attracts more than 30 exhibitors

It was all glamour and pomp on Friday at the 2021 e-government expo where government ministries, departments and agencies showcased their e-services to the public.

The expo which was held at Garden city in Kampala aimed at among other things showcasing e-Services to citizens, customers, potential partners so as to create awareness and increase uptake of the existing digital services within the public sector.

Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) showcases it’s efficiencies in tax administration. The Tax Body says it has recorded 3.74m engaged sessions off its Client Service Web Portal https://t.co/mE5SpXd1qK with an average of 100k users per month. 

More than 30 exhibitors including government entities, development partners, innovators, the academia, utility companies and private sector players among others participated in the expo organised by  the National Information Technology Authority (NITA) Uganda.

The expo preceded the e -Government Excellence Awards and Gala that will be held on December 10th, 2021 to recognize and applaud outstanding Government Ministries, Departments and Agencies, innovators, technological partners, development partners among others, that have championed e-government and e-service delivery.
