NRM Central Executive Committee (CEC) endorses names to be approved for EALA job

The CEC of the NRM has endorsed 6 members to the parliamentary caucus for approval as NRM candidates for the position of members of EALA.

The NRM General Secretary released the news in a letter following their meeting at Entebbe. In a press letter dated 8 July 2022, that was signed by the Secretary-General, 130 names had expressed interest for the EALA position. However 63, candidates are said to have withdrawn from the race.

The resolution Number 9/4/080722 of the NRM CEC at its 10th meeting however recommended that the incumbent EALA members maintain their position in recognition of their exceptional performance.
