Pretoria-Uganda’s High Commissioner to Pretoria Paul Amoru on Monday attended the quarterly plenary meeting of African Diplomatic Heads of Missions accredited to South Africa.
During the meeting, Uganda was selected member of the Subcommittee on matters related to African Peer Review Mechanism (APRM), the African Union’s specialized governance and socio-economic development Agency.
APRM is in charge of preparations for the upcoming National Dialogue on Migration challenges and the Continental Conference on Migration scheduled for November and December 2022 in Pretoria and Kampala respectively.
Uganda was also selected as a member of the Subcommittee on issues related to the Pan African Parliament.
