STATEHOUSE. Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni Tibuhaburwa is expected to address the nation on Friday.
Mrs Lindah Nabusayi Wamboka the presidential press secretary confirmed the presidential address on her Twitter on Monday evening.
She says the president’s address will be on the current Covid-19 situation and other issues of national importance.
According to Nabusayi, the address will be live on all Television and Radios at 8:00 pm.
Bars and Cinema halls remain closed for two years now after the President announced lockdown to combartd the spread of covid 19.
Statistics from the health Ministry indicate that 4.8 million people have been vaccinated. END
