Solar MD Explores Distribution Partnerships in Uganda and East Africa

The company made this announcement following its participation at the Uganda Business Forum, a joint initiative by the Uganda High Commission and Wesgro, hosted by Wesgo in Cape Town. The Solar MD team received recognition and appreciation from High Commissioner Paul Amoru for their valuable contribution to the event. The High Commissioner pledged to connect Solar MD with key players in the region, such as Uganda Batteries and Kiira Motors Corporation, to strengthen trade relations. He commended the forum for aligning with the Embassy’s drive for commercial and economic diplomacy and expressed eagerness for continued collaboration.

Mr. Sam Montsi, Uganda’s Trade Representative and Chairman of Montsi Investments, was also commended for his support and coordination in making the event a success. Distinguished agencies from Uganda, including PACEID, UIA, URA, UEPB, Uganda Airlines, and Great Lakes Coffee Uganda, actively participated, demonstrating their commitment to fostering trade and collaboration.

A major trade mission is scheduled for September, led by Wesgro and the Uganda High Commission in Pretoria. The mission aims to explore trade opportunities and strengthen ties between businesses in the region.
